It’s estimated that the market moves sideways 70% of the time. It is possible to trade a sideways market, but it does take a lot of experience.
Regardless of the market you trade, it can only do one of three things: It can go up, it can go down, and it can go sideways.
Types Of Trends
A much easier way to trade is to just trade with the trend. When the market is moving up, take only long trades. That means you make a profit as the market moves up.
Or you could take only short trades when the trend is down. This means you make a profit as the market moves down.
Remember, in Forex it doesn’t matter if the market is moving up or down.
